I've been on several excursions with the Alder Creek group, but I can't remember anyone saying that I had been certified for a wet exit. Simply, how can I obtain a wet exit certification? It seems that even the easiest of our proposed trips are for a L1 designation. I am about to buy my first kayak but I must wait for my new living situation that will provide storage for it. Immediately I would like to go on as many upcoming L1 trips as possible. So, any advice or recommendations. Without certification or a kayak, what can be done to move things along.
