Narrative:: Saturday looks like it going to be a great day for a circumnavigation of Government Island. We'll Launch at Chinook Boat launch and do a clockwise circumnavigation of the island paddling to the South side of McGuire island.

Paddlers must be dressed for immersion, have a properly outfitted sea kayak at least 14ft long with bulk heads and serviceable decklines. Paddlers should carry a towing system and a VHF marine radio. Paddlers must be able to keep a 3kt pace for 5 hrs.
