Narrative:: Launching at the Elochoman Slough Marina in Cathlamet, we will cross the Columbia and paddle the south side of Tenasillahe Island west towards Welches Island. At the west end of Welches we will cross the Columbia North towards Lutes Mtn. Turning east we will paddle upstream past Skamokawa to the entrance of Elochoman Slough. We will follow the slough back to our launch. This paddle is 13.5 nMi. Participants we will need to be able to keep a 3kt pace. At this time winds are difficult to predict, but tides and currents should work in our favor.
