Narrative:: This is a lovely easy stretch of the Willamette to paddle. Always a great opportunity to see eagles, osprey, even peregrine falcons on the cliff wall across from Elk Rock. We will launch from Cedar Oak Boat Ramp in West Linn and paddle approximately 4 miles downstream to Elk Rock in Milwaukee. The trip has lots of places to stop and get out along the way. After we have our lunch we will head back up to our launch site. There are lots of eddy’s to help us move upstream and current will be mild. I can was hoping that if participants wanted to play a few games where folks can practice their strokes and if they want their rescue skills.
