Full Name:: Ken Sund Narrative:: Paddle with two former presidents of the Bay Area Sea Kayakers at Cascade Head. They are on their way to attend this year's SSTIKS event in Skamakowa and want to visit me. I decided to invite any OOPS members to come and paddle. Swell will decide what we can do and where we can go. If I deem swell to big to manage a group I will cancel. Elements of this paddle will include surfing and options will be- paddle to the waterfalls north of the Salmon River mouth (for lunch) or paddle southward through the rock gardens and have lunch at Roads End or Crescent Cove. We will be using strategy and common sense to find what's available to us with conditions that day. This is not a class but you can certainly learn more from this shared adventure. I am adding these two "guest experts" to join a club paddle. They have decades of experience in the sport.
