Narrative::
Nehalem Bay Event: Explore the Three Graces and the North bay area. Come explore the North Bay with us! We'll launch at noon to avoid the big morning flood current, and paddle out to explore the Three Graces and maybe do a little rock gardening. Then we'll cross to the find a sandy beach for a late lunch inside Kincheloe Point. Depending on weather and interest, we may go back out to the Graces again, high slack is at 1:25 but the exchange after is only 2' so not much ebb current. Or, we may paddle south past Crab Harbor to the narrow part of the spit, where I'm told we can beach the boats and hike over the dune to see the ocean side of the spit and all the interesting life there. Dry suits or full wet suits and helmets required, bring a tow line if you have one.
