Full Name::
Jon Light-Powell
Narrative::
Come on an exploration of the Nehalem Bay and river for a relaxed Tide assisted trip into the wild inlands of Oregon.
We will leave from the Nehalem State Beach Boat ramp and tide along the North coast of the bay. We will navigate through some shallow estuary and then rejoin the main flow of the Nehalem river and Tide up through the town of Nehalem and so up the river to the main river bifurcation at North Fork, where will find a place for lunch and to wait for the tide to change and head back out.
On our way back, we will stick more to opposite side of the river until we get to the bay and then cross over to the north side so we can easily come back to our launch point.
Expect to see eagles and Sea Hawks. And perhaps Cows.
