Narrative::
We will meet at the boat launch near Sportcraft Landing in Oregon City. We will paddle out into the river where we will do some rescues practice. The water is around 50 deg F. You will need to dress for the water. This will require adequate layers under your drysuit. A helmet is required.
After some rescues we will paddle up to the falls. This is where the current will be running fast. We will find a big eddy where we can practice crossing into the fast current and developing our skills, you are encouraged to test yourself in this dynamic water. Each individual will work within their comfort range. The water here is beautiful and dynamic. WE can play in this area until. we tire and want to head back. Usually no longer that 2 hours or less.
