Narrative:: Launching from Willow Grove Park, enjoy this paddle around these three islands west of Longview/Kelso. We will paddle upstream in the slough behind Fisher Island and then cross the river to the slough behind Walker and Lord Islands. On the way back we will paddle along the north sides of Lord and Walker Islands and then cross to the south side of Fisher Island back to the put-in. We'll paddle by lots of sandy beaches and quiet sloughs along with a derelict tank landing ship last used in Vietnam in 1973.
This trip is planned to be 14 nautical miles (16.1 statute miles) long. Be prepared for rain and cooler temperatures on this all-day paddle.
