Full Name:: Robin Rabiroff
Narrative:: We will meet at Cedar Oak boat ramp and travel downriver for approx. 4 miles. Along the way is a beautiful paddle along the Willamette. I have seen Deer, otter, beaver, eagles and so much more on this section of the river. Some amazing homes and historical sites will be paddling. Rogers Park in Lake Oswego is a great place to take a break. Flush toilets and some very interesting kiosks telling the history of the oldest iron foundry on the west coast. Elk is just a few miles downstream and is a nice lunch spot. The peregrine falcons that nest on the cliff wall directly across from Elk Rock, might be there, if they haven't already left on their winter migration. We will return on the same route, utilizing the eddys along the way to help push us upstream to our take out at Cedar Oak.
