Full Name: Steve Blackwood
Narrative: We will put in at Rooster Rock state park and paddle up the Columbia River where we will cross the Columbia River and paddle past Cape Horn. Then we will cross the Columbia back to the Rooster Rock State Park and will go on the inside of Sand Island. After a lunch break, we will return to our put in. This is about 8 miles of paddling and has a number of factors that will determine the route. Wind is always a factor on this paddle which could make for changes on the paddling plans as well as low water. If you sign up be aware thing can change.
Restrooms at the put in are usually available take outs can be limited. This is a state park so you will need a park pass which can be purchased at the kiosk entrance if you don't have an annual pass.
