Full Name: Will Greenough
Narrative: Circumnavigate this wild island in Willapa Bay. This island is entirely undeveloped except for some old logging roads and a few campsites. I expect to see lots of wildlife, including maybe some resident elk that live on the island.
This is a 14 nautical mile paddle, and we will be going against the tidal currents most of the time in order to avoid extensive mud flats at the north end of the island. You must be able to sustain a 3kt pace for the day. We will plan to stop at 3 locations along the way for rest breaks and lunch.
