Narrative:
one-way trip on the chehalis river from Montesano to Gray’s harbor
This trip starts with a 30 minute shuttle from Hoquiam RV park to Friends Landing on the Chehalis. We will unload, park in the public parking area, then launch at the public boat launch.
From there, we will paddle 14 miles downstream with the current and a slight tidal assist. We will stop for lunch at the F street boat launch in Cosmopolis (roughly 7 miles from Friends Landing), then continue on through Junction City, Aberdeen, and Rennie Island before turning north into the Hoquiam river and getting off the river at Levee St boat launch in Hoquiam.
If conditions change, we will make plans for a bail-out shuttle from Cosmoplis, Junction City, or Aberdeen.
