Full Name:
Bob Hyslop
Narrative:
Join Bob and Tom for an exploration of the Sauvie Island west side lakes. We will spot a car at Steelman for a very short shuttle and then launch on Willow Lake. After poking around Willow and the adjoining ponds (3-4 miles) we will make a short portage to Steelman Lake, circumnavigate that lake clockwise (3-4 miles) and return to the shuttle point on west side road.
Meet 9:00 am at Cracker Barrel Grocery at the east end of the Sauvie Island bridge.
NB. A ODFW parking pass (daily $10, annual $30) is required and must be purchased on-line. Stores on the island no longer sell them.
