Narrative: Exploration of Wallace Islands and nearby island in the Lower Columbia River, launching from Clatskanie. We will paddle out the lower Clatskanie River and then Beaver Slough to get to the Columbia River. From there we will weave our way around Wallace Island, Cooper Island and Eureka Bar to the north before heading back to Clatskanie. The expected distance is about 14 nautical miles (16 statute miles).
