Get Your Wet Exit Certification! Session 1

This session is for new OOPSters who do not have their Wet Exit Certification.

This session is also for Trip Organizers that are WEC certifiers or plan to be by coming to the morning training session. (See this event...)

We will meet at Cedaroaks Boat Ramp, spend a brief time on the beach discussing the wet exit certification process, then go out on the water and go through the wet exit certification process.

Expect to get wet! We will ALL fall out our boats, demonstrate the ability to release a spray skirt, and practice assisted rescues. The water is chilly in May even if the air temperature is warm, so a warm clothes and a dry suit will be required. If you have a helmet and or nose plugs you may want to bring them, but not required.

Plan to arrive at Cedar Oaks Boat Ramp at 12:15 pm. 

Required Equipment: Drysuit. (If you don't have a drysuit, we will schedule more WEC sessions in warmer days.)

If this session is full, please look at the OOPS calendar for other WEC sessions running at the same time and place.

Attendance at this session does not guarantee passing wet exit certification.
