Narrative: It's going to be a beautiful April day and we should get ON THE WATER. This level one trip will start at the Sellwood Riverfront boat launch, travel up the western side of the Willamette river and stop at Poet's Beach for lunch. We'll goof around a bit, then turn around and head back to Sellwood Riverfront.

Poet's beach is in South Waterfront Park, on the west side of the Willamette River and just north of the I-5 Marquam Bridge. See https://www.portlandoregon.gov/parks/73880 for details.

Permanent restrooms are available a few minutes’ walk or bike north of the beach at South Waterfront Park Garden, 1831 SW River Drive. Wayfinding signs will point Poet’s Beach users to the permanent restrooms.
