Activity Title: L2 Navigating Four Rivers of Tillamook Bay
Date of Activity: 3/24/2024
Narrative: We will launch in Hoquarton Slough, the main access point to the town of Tillamook before road access was available to the coast. The slough meanders to the bay, where four rivers, the Tillamook, Trask, Wilson, and Kilchis meet in the Southern Flow Corridor. Participants may use GPS, Nautical Charts, Google Maps, Avenza, and whatever other tools and skills they want to practice to explore the Southern Flow Corridor, an area recently restored and rich with wildlife. Those who do not wish to practice navigational skills can come along for the ride.
