Green attire or accessory is recommended but not required. Our plan is to launch from Rooster Rock State Park. Once on the Columbia we'll cross over to Washington's side and paddle along Cape Horn (a beautiful geologic formation) until we reach Phoca Rock. From there we'll cross back to Oregon's side and travel down to Sand Island where we'll take out for lunch. After lunch, we'll proceed back to Rooster Rock Park. Weather is predicted to be sunny with a high around 70°. Drysuits are still required as the water is about 42°. Total distance will be about 11 miles. Restrooms are available in the park. There is a $5 parking fee, card only. Please be ready to launch by 10 am.
