Time to get out for a nice winter paddle. This will be a clockwise tour of Henry Hagg lake launching from the boat ramp at the Camp C Recreation Area and meandering around the various inlets and features around the lake. Most people may have only experienced the lake in the summer months so seeing it in the winter could be quite a bit different.

The length of this paddle should be about 7 miles and with stops, about four hours. If the winds are strong the trip will be rescheduled (but within a week or so).

There will be a shore talk at 10:45 AM and please make sure that you are ready to paddle after the talk. You must wear a drysuit. Dress warm and bring hot liquids/food. We will have lunch at the Eagle Point Recreation Area (or earlier if we find a good spot). There are restrooms at the launch and at Eagle Point.

There is a parking fee: $7 daily pass ($5 for seniors 55+ and veterans).

Parking passes are available at the park entrance fee booth and at C-Ramp (cash and card).

Discount parking passes can be purchased at the Park Office, Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm (cash and card), or at Lake Stop Store 8015 SW Old Highway 47, Gaston, OR 97119 (card only).

This trip is limited to members.  To successfully register you will need to sign into your OOPS member account, and your account will need to be a member of the "Wet Exit Certified" group
