Activity Title: Lincoln City Event: Siletz River Natl. W. Refuge, L1 6-24-22
Date of Activity: 6/24/2022
Narrative: The Siletz River National Wildlife Refuge is an easy paddle in very scenic waters. We'll meet at 10:00 at the Refuge parking lot (limited parking so carpool please). The lot is free and has a porta-potty. We'll launch at 10:30 on the flood tide, near the 11:30 high tide. We'll go to the Siletz River and then up river, past the picturesque Stamper house to a small beach for a break. Then we'll return taking the Milport Slough and the the connecting slough back to the launch. The total distance is about 5 miles and we'll be returning to the put-in about 1:00 pm.
