Full Name: Paul F Steinberg Email address: psteinb@gmail.com Activity Title: Greenland Kayaking III - Teaching Greenland Rolling Date of Activity: 8/6/2021 Narrative: Class III in the Greenland Kayaking series - This class is for those who wish to learn how to teach Greenland rolling. We will give precedence to those who also would like to attend SSTIKS Sept 9-12. If you take this class, you can attend SSTIKS as a mentor. You will be able to continue your training as an apprentice rolling instructor. You can also take the regular classes when you are not working with a rolling instructor. You will be eligible for the mentor rate at SSTIKS. See more here http://qajaqpnw.org. N.B. This class assumes you know how to roll and genuinely want to learn how to teach rolling. You do not need to be a Greenland paddler though we will use Greenland paddles. What you learn will be transferable to any paddle. We will cover student safety as well as teaching techniques. Very Important - Because we will be in close contact during this event, you must be vaccinated to attend. No exceptions. We're trusting that those in the OOPS family will respect this condition.
