Narrative: Join Bob Freshman and me for a morning paddle on the Willamette River. We'll put in at George Rogers Park in Lake Oswego and paddle upstream to Oregon City where we'll take out for breakfast at the Rivershore Hotel. It's about 4.5 miles to the hotel.
Once there, we'll leave our boats at the shore and walk a short distance up the bank to the Hotel's restaurant which includes a dining deck overlooking the river. We'll enjoy time for breakfast or just some coffee and pastries before getting back into our boats and heading back to Lake Oswego with a slight current assist.
Total distance for the paddle will be 8-9 miles. With a launch about 8:30am we should be off the water by 2pm.
