Keep in mind that the purpose of the list is to share information
meaningful to OOPS members. Postings should relate to sea kayaking
and/or OOPS and be limited to the following topics:
Sea kayaking
Outdoor/natural history topics
Conservation
Kayak gear for sale by individuals (include “FOR
SALE” for your items, or “COMMERCIAL” for someone
else’s)
OOPS club information
Topics to avoid:
Partisan politics
Commercial ads
Messages of a personal nature
Religion
To keep the listserv a positive tool for all, the board of OOPS or
the list manager designated by the board may remove list privileges
from members who fail to respect the posted list policies.
Off-topic Messages:
Please respect other members by keeping postings on-topic. If you
think a posting is inappropriate, please do not respond using the
list, as this can easily get out of hand. If you feel a response is
